White Pine

Pine is a softwood, light in color with tones that are creamy white with yellow sapwood and reddish heartwood. Knots may be red or black in color throughout and will be structurally sound.  Pine is sorted for color and structural integrity. Pine is suitable for staining or clear finish.  Pine may be painted, however the knots will show through the paint over time. Natural pine will yellow with age.
