Young Furniture Limited Warranty PDF Print E-mail
Young Furniture products are covered by a one year LIMITED WARRANTY against defective material or workmanship.  The one year Limited Warranty is effective from date of shipment and applies only to the original purchaser.  The Young Furniture Limited Warranty is non-transferable.   
The Young Furniture Limited Warranty only covers damage that is a direct result of Young Furniture’s manufacturing process or defective material.  Damage caused due to improper storage, misuse, faulty installation or alterations by parties other than Young Furniture are not covered under the Young Furniture Limited Warranty. Young Furniture Mfg., Inc. shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of products or for any damages suffered by reason of such delay, when such delay or failure is directly or indirectly due to fire, flood, war, riots, accidents, embargoes, labor stoppage, inadequate transportation, insufficient labor or raw material shortages. 
Shipments made via common carrier are shipped at consignee’s risk. 
The Young Furniture Limited Warranty applies to all standard items listed in the Young Furniture Specifications Guide.  Specialty items not included in the Young Furniture Specifications Guide are covered by the Young Furniture Limited Warranty providing that the items are within the parameters set forth in the Young Furniture Specifications Guide.  The following conditions are either limited or excluded under the Young Furniture Limited Warranty: 
Wood characteristics are not covered by the Young Furniture Limited Warranty.  Solid wood is a product of nature and each wood species used by Young Furniture is unique and will contain variations in color, grain, density and other characteristics that are common and naturally occurring in wood.  
Wood is susceptible to dimensional movement when changes in relative humidity occur.  The Young Furniture Limited Warranty does not cover joint separation on doors and face frames or expansion of oversized and inset doors due to exposure to extreme humidity. 
Outsourced components and hardware installed by Young Furniture are covered under the Young Furniture Limited Warranty as per their own manufacture’s warranty.  Items installed by parties other than Young Furniture are not covered. 
If upon delivery any product is found to be defective, the retail dealer should be notified in writing immediately. Any such product found to be defective as a result of faulty manufacturing will be replaced in whole or parts thereof. No labor costs or other consequential damages shall be allowed. The Young Furniture Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. 
Any merchandise to be replaced or returned to manufacturer requires preauthorization from Young Furniture.  Standard cabinetry in new, unfinished condition may be returned up to 90 days after invoice date for a 25% handling fee.
